Parthiv Patel Set To Make Test Comeback After 8 Years, Here’s How Twitterati Reacted!

Parthiv Patel is the Indian cricketer who debuted against England in 2002 at the tender age of 17. He is batsman cum wicket-keeper. Due to his tender age debut, he was called as the baby-faced Patel. Parthiv Patel has been out of Indian team since few years and he is playing Ranji, IPL games instead.

Here is good news for him and his fans as he is going to join team India soon. Yes, it’s true.

Well, now at 31, the not-so-young but still baby-faced southpaw will be seen in action for the national team. Parthiv is playing for India in the third Test against England in Mohali which begins on November 26. It was the same team against which he made his debut and now making a comeback.

As the current Test Wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha was injured ahead of the upcoming game, Parthiv Patel has been recalled to the squad after so long time. Parthiv last played a Test against Sri Lanka in 2008.
