PayTM becomes Kings XI official ticketing partner

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kings XI Punjab have announced PayTM and Insider as their official ticketing partners for the home games of the upcoming Vivo IPL season. The franchise is slated to play their home games at the Holkar Stadium in Indore and the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. The announcement was done through a media release on their official website as well as their social media pages.

The IPL 2018 is scheduled to start on April 7 with the opening encounter between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Kings XI Punjab play their first home game at Indore on April 15 against Chennai Super Kings. The tickets are scheduled to go live on PayTM and Insider on March 22.

PayTM are also the official ticketing partner for Delhi Daredevils. Kings XI Punjab becomes the second IPL franchise to have partnered with PayTM.

A number of new features have been included in the app and website to enhance the cricket watching experience of the fans. Both PayTM and Insider will be providing refunds to spectators for canceling tickets for a game through the Cancellation Protect feature. Spectators can cancel their tickets up to 10 days before the match starts for a small fee. Spectators will get a refund on the full price of the ticket on canceling so.

Spectators can also pre-buy a special IPL-PayTM F&B payments card online and can use it for buying food and beverages at the stadium.

PayTM and Insider have slowly and steadily moved into the sports ticketing business over the last year. Apart from cricket, both the companies have been the official ticketing partners for Indian Super League teams FC Goa and Delhi Dynamos, Pro Kabaddi teams U Mumba, Dabanng Delhi and Jaipur Pink Panthers for the 2017-18 season.
