For The First Time Ever, PM Modi Makes Predictions On Indian Women’s Team Players, Everything Happened As He Said

It is the combined efforts of both the bowlers and batsmen that brought Team India into the World Cup finals, for the first time ever. With the series of victories against the toughest teams like Australia, Indian women cricketers have garnered all the glory standing as the country’s pride for all good reasons.

It seems that Indian Women’s team has prepared for the toughest in the World Cup finals. With the very consistency in clinching wickets of the English, Indian bowlers have successfully resisted the valiant rivals, who were title favorites for their unprecedented winnings during all these years. And post the bowlers’ success, it was batsmen’s job to put the game on track and clinch the finals.

Though both did their best, somehow, the first three wickets are quite crucial and despite the ultimate efforts of the same, we somehow lost the match at an edgy difference.

Modi Predictions?

Just before the match, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted some encouraging tweets on his official Twitter handle, he opined his notions with a tweet directly tagging every player individually. This time, his tweets carry certain adjectives; describing the player, and surprisingly everything has happened just as he said in his posts.

Modi has been always active on these matters, he was one of those people who definitely wish the sportspersons in any situation. With his way of pouring best wishes and luck, his style is always a standout.

Check out Modi’s tweets here:

To the whole Team:

Starting with Skipper Mithali Raj,

To Smriti Mandhana,

To Poonam Raut,

To Harmanpreet Kaur,

For Deepti Sharma,

For Veda Krishnamurthy,

Tweet On Sushma Verma,

To bowler Jhulan Goswami,

To Shikha Pandey,

To Poonam Yadav,

And to Rajeshwari Gayakwad,

Coming to the individual views, according to Modi’s tweet on Mithali Raj, the skipper gracefully played in the finals, collected 17 vital runs for the team. Just as he said, Smriti Mandhana has been maintaining blunt calm and poise since past 6 matches, she calmly repeated the same walking off the pavilion bagging no runs.

He, in his tweet, said that Poonam Raut will make us proud at the finals, and yes! it just happened. Unlike her previous matches, she finally made a kind of comeback collecting 86 runs to the team, eventually becoming the lead run scorer in the finals. Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Kaur replicated the glare she created in the semi finals, did her best, according to Modi’s tweet.

Veda Krishnamurthy added the much needed 35 runs coming in the middle order. Jhulan Goswami was the show stealer through out the day, she gave away merely 23 runs in 10 overs and readily dismissed three England bowlers.

Now, these signs of hope from Modi himself has definitely helped the Indian Women during the finals. In another way, the players performed quite accurately as Modi Ji has posted in his tweets. The adjectives used by him has just proved themselves right and his tweets became the predictions that actually became true.
