Sanjay Manjrekar Finally Speaks On Kieron Pollard’s Tirade Against Former Indian Batsman

The former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar is known for his witty comments while doing commentary in the matches. He is equally active in social media as well and utilizes every occasion to troll someone on Twitter.

Recently, Sanjay has indulged in a cold war with the West Indies monster player Kieron Pollard. In fact, the Batsmen had slammed Manjrekar for his on-air comments about his batting during an earlier IPL match involving Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, saying that the former India player suffers from “verbal diarrhea”.

Back then, Pollard was dismissed for a run-a-ball 17, leaving MI at a precarious 119/5 with less than four overs to go in his team’s chase of 179.

After he was dismissed, commentator Sanjay Manjrekar made an insensitive remark saying,

Pollard does not have the brains to play early in the innings.

The cricketer clearly was upset over this remark, the term “Brainless” didn’t go down well with Pollard and so he took to Twitter to slam him.

On the other hand, Sanjay Manjrekar has finally responded on what he thought of Kieron Pollard’s rude tweets on the former Indian batsman.

When poked on air about the West Indian dasher by fellow commentator Ravi Shastri during the Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match on Wednesday, Manjrekar said,

I kept a safe distance from Kieron Pollard. Had a couple of security guards around me. That was a shocker which came from nowhere. We have been in the business long enough – we have seen it all.”
