Sehwag Tried To Troll Indian Bowler By Wishing Him On Twitter But Got Backfired

Former Indian left-arm spinner Bishan Singh Bedi was known for his art as a spin bowler. The legend celebrates his 70th birthday today. Bedi played 67 Tests for India and claimed 266 wickets at an average of 28.71.

Virender Sehwag and fellow cricketers wished the left-arm spinner on Twitter. Viru tried by wishing him but got backfired by the legend. He expressing his wishes in his own funny and witty manner.

Though Viru mentioned cheating in a light-hearted sense trying to describe how he out-skilled the batsmen which made it look like he had an unfair advantage over them. Bishan paaji replied to his Tweet, thanked and said – ‘@virendersehwag Thx Veeru..but just to clarify. I might’ve deceived batsmen in air or off wkt..but I never ‘cheated’ on Crkt ground..Cheers!’

Bedi, over the years, has been very critical of spinners who have used a significant bend in their bowling arm to gain an advantage. He repeatedly referred to Muttiah Muralitharan as a ‘chucker’ during the Sri Lankan’s illustrious career.
