Twitter has always provided a platform for sporting personalities and fans to interact with each other, engage in conversations, share a banter, trolling one another, etc. However, this time around we witnessed a romantic moment between Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis player Sania Mirza.

Pakistan Cricket Team had hosted Sri Lanka for a T20I match at Gaddafi stadium in Lahore on Sunday. This match was first in Lahore after the World XI series last month and Pakistan did not disappoint their fans. As it was the first match for Sri Lanka in Pakistan after eight years, Pakistan Cricketer Shoaib Malik’s wife Sania Mirza, the Indian Tennis ace player traveled to Lahore with the team.

Claiming the final T20I against Sri Lanka, Pakistan won the series 3-0 and that too in front of their home crowd. It turned out to be one of the better games for Shoaib as he scored an unbeaten half-century for Pakistan and was named Man of the Series. He was awarded a motorbike.

Soon, Sania Mirza seemed all too excited to ride on it and posted the picture asking him for a ride. She tweeted, “Chalen Phir Is Pe??”

Thus, the couple engaged in a Romantic-Comedy conversation. However, Malik happily obliged her request and asked her to get ready. He tweeted, “Yes yes! Jaldi se ready ho Jao Jaan im on the way.”

Just as Twitter started finding this conversation cute, Sania Mirza decided to add a pinch of humor into it. She went on to tweet a picture of Shoaib Malik along with Shadab Khan on the bike and stated that the back seat was already occupied. She tweeted, “Ok never mind… I guess the seat is taken already.”

It turned out to be a delightful moment for their fans on Twitter. Twitterati just couldn’t stop getting awestruck on it. Both Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza have shared a great bond over the years and today’s conversation was a sublime proof of the same.

The whole conversation on Twitter amused the fans already thrilled by Pakistan’s stellar performance in the series, marking the return of Sri Lankan team to Pakistan after eight years.
