Kohli, being the fastest player to reach many milestones in cricket is doing well with his batting form, and it is quite rare to see a cricketer maintaining such consistency in both striking and leading the team as the captain at the same time.

With the appreciable winning stats in the earlier West Indies series, Indian team is now all set to begin the bilateral series against Sri Lanka on July 26. Virat Kohli and Pujara stepped out for team practice in Colombo and the Lankan fans were awestruck to see their idol heading towards the ground.

BCCI somehow managed to record the video and they later posted the video on their official Twitter handle in which Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara can be seen walking amidst tight security, even as the fans gathered at the gates to click pictures with the cricketers.

While many fans circled the players during their path, a few of them managed to click selfies. Pujara was seen with a bag strapped on his back, meanwhile, Kohli is in sleeveless dragging his kit bag showing off his tattoos.

It seems that the players are now all ready to begin the full series at Galle on Wednesday, three Tests and five ODIs along with a one-off T20I will take place. They are currently playing a warm-up match against Sri Lanka Board’s President XI in Colombo.
