From the very beginning when MS Dhoni was removed from being the captain of Rising Pune Supergiants, it was Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who 0ften voiced his support to him on Twitter or in front of media. Despite the millions of fans, Dhoni has on various social media handles, Sushant has always been an ardent follower of the former TeamIndia’s captain.

Earlier, Sushant slammed the RPS’ owner Harsh Goenka for making the biased tweets on Dhoni’s form nd strike rates. In a bid to give a firm reply to the Goenka, Sushant took on to his twitter handle saying that such immense criticism is coming in, only because such are the standards set by Dhoni.

Further, the actor added that it is only a matter of time before he gets back to his prime and answers the critics with his bat. His present response is to the former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, one of those cricket experts who in a statement said:

“I am not too sure if Dhoni is a good T20 player. He is a champion ODI player but when it comes to T20 cricket, in 10 years, he has got one fifty and that’s not the best record,”

However, Dhoni didn’t take much time after this, in his very next match against SRH, Dhoni bagged a massive 61 runs within 34 balls raging the team against SRH. Post the match, people went on taking the u-turn on their opinions and former tweets, even Goenka ended up praising the way Dhoni has played for the team.

And it was Sushant Singh Rajput’s turn to take a dig, he did it smartly by quoting the Dada’s recent comment on Dhoni’s statistics and form
