Twitter Reactions: MS Dhoni Quits Captaincy, Yuvraj Singh Back To The ODI, T20 Squad

Yuvraj Singh has been recalled to the Indian squad for the upcoming ODI and T20 series against England. Twitter erupted as Yuvraj Singh found his way back to the ODI side after three years. Dat too, after MS Dhoni stepping out from limited over the captaincy.

It is also clear that Dhoni wants to give Virat enough time to build the squad when it comes to the bigger picture of the 2019 World Cup with his sudden decision to step out from captaincy.

Speaking about Yuvraj’s selection, chief selector MSK Prasad said:“You should appreciate the way Yuvraj has played in domestic cricket. He’s scored a double hundred and got an 180 on a Lahli wicket. He’s done extremely well in domestic cricket and has been given the due chances.”

Let us see how the Twitterati reacted to the team selection:

Moreover, there have been a few trolls in recent times about Yuvraj’s father Yograj who has been quite critical of MS Dhoni opting not to select his son in the side. After MS Dhoni announcement about resigning from limited over the captaincy, Dhoni fans trolled Yograj Singh and twitterati suggests that the person happiest with Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s sudden decision to step down as captain is Yuvraj Singh’s dad Yograj Singh.
