Twitterati Brutally Trolled Sushant Singh Rajput After MS Dhoni’s Failure Against Mumbai Indians
After the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput faced the heat on Twitter after Mahendra Singh Dhoni failed to deliver with the bat against Mumbai Indians on April 24. MS Dhoni faced a lot of criticism against his performance in this year’s IPL. He managed to get just 61 runs from 5 innings and critics were quick to pounce on him.
Former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly too reacted about Dhoni’s poor performance with the bat saying Dhoni has recorded just one-half century in 10 years of International T20 career. RPS co-owner Harsha Goenka also prompted to take an indirect jibe at Dhoni. Meanwhile, Dhoni lovers and his well-wishers came down in support of their favorite cricketer and actor Sushant Singh Rajput is one among them.
With the criticism increasing after every passing day, Sushant, who played Dhoni in his biography, was quick to back the Indian wicketkeeper in such tumultuous times. He had said it was just a matter of time before the batsman delivers.

The moment arrived soon as Dhoni scored a match-winning 61* off just 34 balls to steer the Supergiant to a thrilling win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rajput took to Twitter to give it back to his critics who had written off Mahi. He, through his tweet, took a jibe at Ganguly but didn’t mention his name but it was evident what he was trying to do.

And while the fans and experts were lauding Dhoni for the brilliant knock, Sushant used it as an opportunity to take a dig at Ganguly. His tweets caught the attention of some Sourav Ganguly fans. Taking a sly dig at the man under whom Dhoni debuted didn’t go down well with them.
RPS played their next game against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede on Monday. Though RPS won the game by 3 runs, Dhoni didn’t get going and played a delivery off Jasprit Bumrah back onto his stumps for a shoddy 7 off 11 balls. Soon, the fans took to troll the actor.
