This Is What Sania Mirza Tweeted After Team India Lost CT Finals To Pakistan

We all know Pakistan cricket team has thrashed India by a record 180-run margin in ICC Champions Trophy final at the Oval. Pakistan has won the glittering silverware for the first time in Champions Trophy history.

Every Indian cricket fan was disappointed for team India’s poor performance both in batting and also bowling. As everyone is disappointed, there is one person who is happy for Pakistan’s win over India. And she is none other than Indian Tennis player Sania Mirza.

Sania Mirza happy

Because she is the wife of Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik. She might feel happy whichever team wins the final as she is India’s daughter and Pakistan’s daughter-in-law.

On the other hand, the scenes were completely different where India thrashed Pakistan in Hockey League semi-final with a huge margin of 7-1. Whichever the sport is, if India and Pakistan teams play against each other, there will be lots of excitement and curiosity.

Sport is indeed a great leveler and Sania Mirza knows that right. In this regard, Sania took to Twitter to congratulate both the countries. She was equally happy to know that both India and Pakistan clinched a contest each.

Sania Mirza tweeted, “Lost the cricket but won in hockey against Pakistan. Congratulations Team India and congratulations Team Pakistan sport is a great leveler!”

Indian Hockey team showed their capability and held the Indian flag high against arch-rivals Pakistan. Many still have that sore of the loss of final by team India but there are few who cheer taking pride in the way India fought in the finals of Champions Trophy. Whereas Srikanth representing India won the Indonesia SSP.
