India’s hunger for the right head coach began back in 2015. With Anil Kumble, the problem has been resolved for a year, but in effect of the differences Kumble has with skipper Virat Kohli, both went apart with the resignation of Anil Kumble from the position of National Head Coach.

Back then last year, though many legendaries had applied, the position was granted to the former ace bowler Anil Kumble. The story was same this year, a couple of names like Sehwag and Tom Moody are also on the table. Despite the various concerns, Ravi Shastri finally emerged as the successor of the position, being the team’s personal favorite and his already ensembling good company with skipper Virat Kohli is all that justified him to be the next Coach.

Meanwhile, since yesterday evening, some uncooked rumors surfaced the Internet claiming that Virender Sehwag might be selected as India’s new head coach. The deferred announcement, delay in conducting the interview and waiting for skipper Virat Kohli’s opinion, all summed up roping in various conspiracies in the decision. 

However, the result was as expected, Ravi Shastri is declared as the new head coach and is going to ascend the highest throne, he will train the National team until the end of World Cup 2019.
