Virat Kohli’s Feather Touch Shot To Get 9000 Runs In ODI Cricket Left Everyone Speechless! [WATCH VIDEO]

Team India will look to clinch another ODI series as they play their third and final One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand in Kanpur at the Green Park stadium on Sunday.

India vs New Zealand

The series is level 1-1 with the hosts defeating Kiwis in Pune after New Zealand won the first ODI in Mumbai. New Zealand has won the toss and has opted to bowl. Both teams are unchanged. However, both the opening batsmen looked in good touch in dealing with boundaries until Dhawan (14) was caught at mid-off in 7th over.

It was Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who built the much-needed partnership for team India in the decider of 3-match ODI series. Overall, Kohli, who played his 202nd match and 194th innings on Sunday, has become the 19th batsman to breach the 9000-run mark, making him the fastest to get there.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni had reached the milestone last year while other Indians who have done so are Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Mohammad Azharuddin.

The Indian skipper became the sixth Indian to complete 9000 ODI runs during the series-deciding third game against New Zealand on Sunday. Kohli got to the landmark in the 37th over when he guided one off Grandhomme towards the third man for a four. It was a feather touch shot back to the third man.
