Wondering Why Sourav Ganguly Didn’t Apply For The Coach Position? Here’s Why He Couldn’t Even Apply For This Position

Having an immense experience in handling the Indian Cricket Team and fair knowledge on International cricket, Sourav Ganguly can make it up to the position with ease. But he even didn’t apply for the same, because, there are certain regulations of the board of cricket that stopped hum from doing so.

With an ultimatum of aggressiveness and expertise in mentoring the team, Ganguly would have made a great Head Coach for Team India, be it the progress in the game or the ethical unity, it is Dada who brought in hope in Indian cricket in the beginning of 21st century.

Now coming to the reasons behind this, it all started when Ganguly has become a part of the committee appointed by that general body to study the much-needed reforms for the Indian team. On joining this, Dada himself is much pre-occupied and has no minute in discussing the Supreme Court-mandated Justice RM Lodha Committee reforms with the general body of the Indian cricket board.

Later, when he’s not busy attending the Indian Premier League governing council meetings, he’s busy running the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), followed by that, when he’s not busy chairing the BCCI’s technical committee, he’s busy selecting the Indian national team’s new coach.

That’s how this 45-Year-Old former skipper’s career went like, as of now, Ganguly is obviously not eligible to apply for the position. Meanwhile, in a recent occasion, Dada even admitted that he could have applied for the position if he was not the administrator.
