The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently announced Interview Schedule for the candidates who have qualified the combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2015. UPSC Interview Schedule – Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist 2015:

The interview will be held for recruitment to the posts of Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist. Interview for the candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test are likely to be held from 31st August to 4th September 2015. Interview for the selected candidates will be taken on different days during forenoon (9 am onward) and Afternoon shift (1:15 pm onward). The vacancies were notified by the Commission at the posts of  Geologists (Group A), Geophysicist (Group A), Chemists  (Group A)  of  Geological Survey  of  India  and  Junior  Hydro geologists  (Scientist  B),  Group  A. The candidates are also required to bring the printed copy of the DAF duly signed (by the candidate) along with original documents and a photocopy each thereof at the time of Interview.  The instructions for filling up DAF available on the Website.

At the time of interview candidates are required to submit two recent passport size photographs and all relevant certificates/degrees /documents in original with photocopy there on the date of Personality Test. Candidates are required to bring proof of passing the qualifying Post-Graduate Exam in Original along with the photocopies on the date of interview, failing to bring any of the above required documents or photos will be liable to be cancelled. The final list of candidates will get a remuneration of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 with a grade pay of Rs 5,400 per month.
