RRB Group D Exam Date 2018 Out, CBT To Begin From 17th Sept.

Around five months later of the last date for submission of online applications for the 62,907 posts of Group D, finally, the Railway Recruitment Board has announced the exam dates for level 1. The board has issued a notice on 26th August (Yesterday) according to which, the Computer Based Tests are likely to start from 17th September. Details regarding Exam city, schedule and shift will be provided 10 days prior to the start of Computer Based Test.

As the exam is to begin from 17th September, admit cards for the same will also be issued just one or two weeks earlier of the examination. Apart from this announcement, the Railway Recruitment Board has also announced the exam date for group C examination for candidates from Kerala. For those candidates whose examination was cancelled on 9th August and for the candidates Kerala whose examination was postponed from 17th, 20th and 21st August is rescheduled and would be conducted on 4th September.

Admit cards for the Computer Based Examination of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician is expected to be issued on 31st August.

The online application procedure was commenced on 10th February and candidates were instructed to fill out the forms before12th March but later on, the date was extended to 31st March. The board directed candidates to check out the eligibility criteria first.

Candidates with the age between 18 to 33 years as on 1st July 2018 could apply for the posts. Age is relaxable by 3 years for the candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates. Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed the 10th class from a recognised Board and must have completed National Apprenticeship Certificate granted by NCVT or ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/ SCVT.

Along with the exam date, the board has also directed candidates to stay away from touts and do not fall prey to the false messages circulated on the internet. RRB recruitment will take place on the basis of merit thus, stay away from job racketeers. Candidates should visit the official website to confirm the updates.
