Ranbir Kapoor Reveals Why He Didn’t Singh ‘Channa Mareya’ At Virat-Anushka’s Wedding

Now it has been about a week and all that media is crazy about is the marriage of Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. The secret wedding of the couple has somehow didn’t last awhile as a secret, shutterbugs and media houses went preaching the details of every bit of the event on the social media platforms, though, more has stormed the mainstream news channels.

But coming to the facts, the duo has maintained a secret agenda for the whole plan. Many cricketers were left uninvited.  Many of Kohli’s friends were not there at the event just like Anushka’s.

However, despite all this, everyone from cricket and B-town wished the couple a happy married life and good fortune. Earlier, South African batsman AB DeVilliers who shared a fine bond with his teammate AB D who is also a part of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has opened up about the secret marriage and not being invited. Now, Anushka’s ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil’ co-actor Ranbir Kapoor did the same.

On a fun note, everyone wanted to know if Ranbir Kapoor would have sung the song at the ceremony too. Someone was so excited about the question that when the actor came to chat with his fans on Twitter, the person asked him the exact question. The actor’s reply was EPIC!.

Regarding the same, Ranbir chatted with his fans through his fan club and answered every question thrown at him. When he was asked @RanbirKapoorFC hey Ranbir, Anushka’s wedding is incomplete without you singing Channa mereya. Just saying #ChatWithRanbir,” he didn’t dodge the question at all. In fact, his reply made us clap at his snarky way of dealing with it.

He said, “I felt sad because I had no idea about it but I felt happy because I ‘ve never seen her so happy and beautiful. Clearly, like us, Ranbir, too, had no clue that the couple was tying the knot. Someone should learn how to keep their own wedding a secret from these two.

However, despite marrying The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.
