English Language :

English Section today tested the skills of the candidate writing the exam. He/she may face difficulty in the Reading Comprehension because it consumes lot of time. But person with good skills in reading and grammar can do a better job.Other’s usually feel uncomfortable with English part but somehow because of extensive practice before exams managed to deal with this part. It takes nearly 30minutes to complete this section.

General Awareness :

General Awareness part is usually expected to be tougher. The question in general awareness will be from different streams like economic survey / budget in the this year(2014),  current affairs, History of banking and economy, marketing questions, Questions on persons in news, books, authors, awards etc..So in this case you will find this section a bit difficult.

Numerical Ability :

General intention of Numerical Ability part and Reasoning part is to kill the candidates mentally and make their mind clumsy. But this intention didn’t appear in any of the three session exams finished in IBPS Clerk Exam now. So to attemp this section you need a good skills and preparation. Questions from Data Interpretation part appeared bit time consuming, but still we can treat it as reasonable. Most common areas questions appeared are Number Series, Data Interpretation, Simplification, Arithmetic concepts.

Reasoning :

This section is best for scoring good marks.  Hopefuls who are strong at basics and practiced variety of questions in the preparation time can easily score decent score in this section. Sitting Arrangements, Puzzles, Syllogism, Data Sufficiency, and Coded Inequalities covers the major portion of this section. On average hopefuls are estimated to give 25 to 28 attempts in this section with accuracy.  Time consumed to deal with this part is 20 to 25 minutes for good candidate.
