Mayurbhanj, Odisha: An alive cobra was found inside a package box that was delivered by a courier.  The box had goods that were ordered by a man from Odisha on a website.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Mrity Kumar, a resident of Ward number 5 in Rairangpur, ordered his groceries from a shop in Vijayawada.

The grocery that Kumar ordered was delivered by a courier service in a sealed box, but when he opened it, he saw a cobra.

It is reported that a rat managed to enter the box and eat the grocery items when it was at the courier officer, and the cobra entered the box through the hole that the rat made.

Kumar opened the parcel and found a 5.5 feet long cobra inside the box.

Along with his grocery items was a cobra that was sitting pretty chill in the parcel box.

Shocked Kumar called the forest department officials right away and told them about the incident.

The local forest department officials rescued the snake and released it in a jungle.
