Heartwarming Video Shows Adorable Moment Orphaned Bear Reuniting With Caretaker Who Raised Her
A heartwarming video is currently winning the hearts of any person who watches it. The short video shows Sonya, the orphaned bear, getting reunited with the man who cared for her as a cub at a center in New York.
In the “beary” sweet reunion that was caught on cam, it actually has a pretty amazing story. So buckle up folks, we’re about to go into the feet road.
The video shows the amazing reunion of Sonya with the man that cared for her as a cub at a center in Otisville in New York.
The video, which was shared by the Orphaned Wildlife Center, shows Sonya playing With Jonathan, her former caretaker.
Sonya has been an orphan for most of her life, and when she was a cub, Jonathan was the one who took care of her.
Even after all those years, Sonya never forgot Jonathan and had a special place for the caretaker in her beary big heart.
In the post that was made by the center, they wrote, “He used to have a VERY unique and special relationship with Sonya, and when she was a cub they spent a great deal of time together.”
The center said Sonya did not want to travel anymore and stayed in the center.
She also got lost contact with Jonathan for many many years.
The center released a number of videos that showed the beary emotional reunion of the 2.
In one of the videos, it showed Sonya running up to Jonathan.
Yesterday I mentioned a game that Johnathan used to play with Sonya when she was a cub. He would hold his hands out to her and she would put her paws into his hands and he would pull her forward and she would rock back. She LOVED this game and would run to him and extend her paws to him to try to get him to play it with her. He wanted to see if she remembered it, and while it was a lot different now that she is 400 pounds, haha, it is clear she DID remember and still wanted to play it. Video 2 of 4.

In the second video that was shared by the Center, it had a caption of, “You can really see in this one how much she completely trusts him and how comfortable she is. Johnathan says when she was little she would try to climb up under his shirt and snuggle there. He had to tuck his shirt in to try to prevent her from doing it at the size she is now.”
