Visitors of the annual aviation show in Nanchang, China, witnessed something that is often seen in sci-fi movies.

Chinese residents and tourists were treated to a light display of hundreds of drones that look like a glowing propeller plane, an airliner, and a fighter jet.

According to reports, over 800 drones, which had shining lamps equipped in them, took part in the 2019 Nanchang Flight Convention.

The Nanchang Flight Convention is an annual convention that demonstrates the latest developments in China’s aviation industry, space technology, and drone technologies.

During the 2019 Nanchang Flight Convention, tourists saw drones forming luminescent figures that could be compared with an attack helicopter, military fighter jet, and a propeller-driven airplane.

The drone show was part of the 2019 Nanchang Flight Convention’s closing ceremony.

During the exhibition, over 100 aircraft from China and other countries were showcased in front of the public.
