Here is a guy who proposed to his girlfriend using technology. He is Shane Birkinbine and his girlfriend is Pam Edwards.

The couple is said to be met through online dating two years ago. Shane knew that Pam Edwards like video games and she always plays games especially ‘Super Mario’ like him. Shane Birkinbine thought this is the best way to propose to Pam Edwards. So he decided to customise the game with a text in it and give a shock to his girlfriend.

Shane had changed the game’s question boxes that read: ‘Pam, will you marry me?’

Not only had Shane really thought about how to pop the question, he also managed to edit a video game’s coding to display the all-important message.

Of course, Pam said yes and later revealed that the proposal came as a “surprise”. Luckily Shane filmed the whole scene and it has since gone viral.
