Indonesian Man Builds His Own Helicopter From Scratch Because He’s Too Tired Of Heavy Traffic

Instead of complaining about traffic or asking the government to do something about it, a man in Indonesia decided to build his own helicopter from scratch, as he was too tired of dealing with heavy traffic.

42-year-old Jujun Junaedi, an Indonesian Man, got so fed up with the traffic that he decided to build a helicopter to tackle traffic.

According to reports, Jujun has been working on a project, which is helicopter making, for more than a year.

Jujun wants to have the helicopter working by 2020 or by the end of this year.

Jujun said, “God willing, I will be able to conduct a test flight by the end of this year or in early 2020. That’s why my process is very lengthy.”

He added, “It takes time to acquire the parts I need. And I don’t want to be leeching off my household funds.”

Jujun is working with his 16-year-old son.

Jujun and his son are working together in making the 8-meter whirlybird helicopter.

Febriansyah, the son of Jujun, is using the things that he learned in high-school and is also researching on the internet to apply some things on the helicopter his father is making.

Febriansyah said, “We’ve got the motor running, but we haven’t flown it yet because the top propellor isn’t complete.”

The father-son duo is currently using a 700 cc motor from a generator and 2 premium fuel cylinders.

Jujun has reportedly spent over $600,000 on the project so far.

Jujun said he was inspired by the Indonesian air taxi service called Whitesky Aviation, which has successfully done nearly 500 flights in the last 2 years.

Looks like traffic made this guy hella mad in recent years.
