Massive 4.3 Magnitude Earthquake felt at a couple of districts in northern Gujarat

On June 5, 2019, evening a massive 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit a number of districts in the northern part of Gujarat.

The government of Gujarat said that no damage or casualties have been reported so fat.

According to the Gandhinagar-based Institute of Seismological Research, the 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit the northern part of Gujarat by 10:31 PM.

The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded 31 kilometers from Palanpur, a local town in the district of Banaskantha.

Locals said that people came out running from their houses after they felt the massive earthquake.

The tremors were felt in Banaskantha, Mehsana, and Sabarkantha.

Light tremors from the quake were also felt in some areas of Ahmedabad.
