Karnataka, India: A college student stabbed his mother to death after she scolded him for staying out late.

The violent reaction of the son, whose identity was not shared with the public, has caused an outrage on social media.

The mother was frequently scolding her son because of his toxic behavior.

However, everything changed last week when an argument escalated.

The son stabbed his mother to death in anger, said the authorities.

On Friday last week, the authorities arrested the man.

The police said that the son has confessed the crime to the police.

The police arrested the man and registered an FIR against him.

The man is currently facing charges under the section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
