State Bank of India is about to conduct the mains examination for clerk recruitment on 5th August. Those who have qualified the preliminary examination results of which were announced on 23rd July have to appear this stage. Still, admit cards for the upcoming exam are not available but, call letters are expected to be issued today (on 1st August), as reported by The Times Of India.

Admit cards for the mains examination will be provided through the online platform of State Bank of India i.e. sbi.co.in. Candidates who want to download the same, they may need to enter the registration ID and password to log in.
- Questions in the exam are to be asked about these topics – General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning ability and computer aptitude and general/ financial awareness.
- A total of 190 questions will be positioned in the examination.
- The test must be finished in the two hours and forty minutes duration.
- The exam will be of 200 marks in total and candidates need to score more than the minimum passing marks to get shortlisted for further proceedings.
Admit card is compulsory for all the candidates as, without it, no candidate will be permitted to attend the examination. There is a common question that numerous candidates ask, what is my exam centre?. To know where they need to report to appear for the test, they need to wait until the admit card is released. Admit card comprises of roll number, the name of candidate, photograph and timing as well to report at the centre.
SBI Clerk preliminary examination was conducted on three different days – 23rd June, 24th June and 30th June. Later, the bank provided results which were provided on the basis of merit prepared using the cut off marks. Notification for the recruitment was made available on 19th January and one day later, the online registration process was commenced. Candidates were needed to submit their forms before 10th February.
On the exam date, candidates must reach the venue on time as latecomers will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
