2 people were involved in an accident on Sunday in Assam, a tempo got hit by the train, killing 1 and injured the other one.
Nripen Bhattacharji spokesman of the NFR (Northeast Frontier Railway) said that the tempo was trying to cross the tracks when a train named Dadra-Guwahati Express was passing by.
The railway tracks were full of mud and vehicles were having a hard time passing by them, Spokesman Bhattacharji said that the collision did not damage the train engine.
The officials had to stop the train on the tracks to remove the tempo from the accident area, the train was stopped for 1 hour.
The trains have to pull the brakes 300 meters before they can avoid an accident, the Spokesman also said that the train operators are not required to stop or slow down at an unauthorized crossing.
