Pope Francis, the head of the Vatican City, has tested negative for the coronavirus again after a worker who lives in the same residence as he has contracted the virus.

The 83-year-old, who is the head of the Catholic Church, was swabbed yesterday, along with other Vatican residents, after a clergyman at Saint Martha’s guest house was hospitalized.

He tested positive for the virus.

According to local newspapers, the Pontiff has been eating alone inside his room as part of precautionary measures by the Catholic Church.

News outlets said that the clergyman that tested positive for the virus was rushed to a hospital after the results came in.

The identity of the clergyman was not shared with the public.

A Vatican spokesperson said that he could neither confirm nor deny the reports.

Pope Francis, who was elected as Pope in 2013, was in good health as of this morning.

The pope also heads a live-streamed mass at the Santa Marta Church.

The Pope suffers from a nerve condition, which causes hip pain.

He also had a part of his lung removed as a young man.

On March 3, it was reported that Francis had been tested for COVID-19, his results came in clear.

Earlier, the pope was seen blowing his nose, coughing, and rubbing his eyes.
