Loyal Pet Dog Stays At Hospital For 3 Straight Months After Owner Died From COVID-19

Humans do not deserve dogs, they are kind, angelic, and are extremely loyal.

Every dog breed is different, and there are countless stories of them doing heroic acts and helping people all over the world.

In a similar event, a dog in China was noticed by authorities for waiting at a hospital for 3 months after its owner died.

The owner of the dog reportedly passed away after contracting the coronavirus.

The seven-year-old mongrel, who was given the name Xiao Bao, which means Little Treasure in Chinese, was noticed as the pandemic was getting underway in February this year.

The owner of the dog was admitted to the Wuhan Taikang Hospital in China’s Hubei Province.

However, the owner died 5 days after contracting the deadly disease.

Xiao Bao, the dog, patiently waited in the lobby of the hospital for 3 months, hoping that his elderly owner would come back.

Be right back guys, I need to punch a wall to feel like a man again.

Wu Cuifen, a shopkeeper, said:

They told me Xiao Bao’s owner, a pensioner, was admitted with the coronavirus. Then he passed away, but Xiao Bao didn’t know and just stayed in the hospital looking for him. It never left the hospital. It was incredibly touching, and so loyal. I grew familiar with the dog and later brought him into the shop. Every morning when I opened up, Xiao Bao would be there waiting for me. He saw me off at the end of each day.

By the end of May, the hospital was hit with several complaints about Xiao Bao roaming the corridors of the hospital lobby.

As a result, the staff of the hospital contacted the Wuhan Small Animal Protection Association, who has now taken the seven-year-old dog into their shelter.

Xiao Bao has been vaccinated and sterilized.

His dog is currently at a dog shelter right now.

The dog is currently finding a permanent home.
