Pharmacist In Israel Is Accidentally Given 5 Doses Of Pfizer Coronavirus Vaccine At Once

Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5, yes 5, all at once.

A pharmacist from Israel is claiming that he was accidentally given 5 doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine all at once.

Yes 5 of them and the man said that he is feeling fine.

Uday Azizi, the man, was one of the first people in the country to get the vaccine because he is a frontline health worker.

He turned up at the Shomo Group Arena in Tel Aviv at around 3 pm on Monday this week to get the vaccine.

The nurse that was administering the shot did not realize that each vial of the vaccine contained up to 5 doses.

The man was given the entire vial and he was rushed to a hospital when the vaccine center realized that they had made a huge mistake.

Luckily, the man did not suffer any ill effects as a result of the mix-up.

He just had redness and swelling around the area where he got the injection.

The man said that he will be getting a second dose in the upcoming weeks, but this time, he wants to get a normal dose.

During an interview with Uday, the man said he was not bothered when the authorities told him what happened.

The man added:

I have no problem with getting several doses again. Let’s be optimistic about the vaccine, the entire situation, and the new year maybe.

The Health Ministry of the country released a statement about the incident, where they said:

This is one case. It is being investigated by the Ministry of Health and we will be sending out another letter tightening up the procedure for the entire health system. bThe Ministry of Health is continuing to conduct the vaccination process and will continue to update procedures as such exceptional incidents occur in order to improve the operation.

Earlier this week, the government of Israel started its national vaccination program.

The country is currently vaccinating people that are over 60 and the ones that are working to help out the sick ones.
