A nurse from Russia is currently being disciplined for wearing lingerie underneath her protective gown while treating coronavirus patients.
The nurse said she was feeling too hot when the incident happened.
The revealing images of the nurse went viral after they were taken by a coronavirus patient in a male ward.
According to reports, the incident happened in a male ward located in Tula, which is located in the south of Moscow.
The unnamed nurse, who is around 20 years old, told her managers at the Tula Regional Clinical Hospital that she did not realize the PPE that she was wearing was transparent.
The nurse also claimed that she was feeling too hot as she was wearing the uniform.
Despite this, the regional health ministry reported that a sanction was applied to the unnamed nurse of the infectious diseases department who violated their uniform requirements.
Her chiefs at first said that the woman was wearing lingerie but later claimed she had a swimming suit beneath the gown.
The nurse had not spoken publicly on the incident and the exact details of the disciplinary actions were not revealed.
One patient said there were no objections in the coronavirus male ward.
However, the patients did say that there were some embarrassments.
