All India Management Association (AIMA) conducted the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Paper based test on 6th September 2015. Now it is going to conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) tomorrow i.e; 12th September 2015. MAT Computer Based Test (CBT) 2015:

All India Management Association (AIMA) is an apex body for management studies. With the joint efforts of Government of India and Corporate sector of the country, it was established in the year 1957. The objective was to promote the management studies and skills through out the country. The body today boasts of 61 local Management Associations, 30000 professional members and 3000 corporate members. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India. This year it has released the notification for the admissions into various business schools and conducted the Paper Based Test and on 12th September 2015 MAT computer ed test will be held at different examination centers. MAT Computer Based Test Examination Pattern 2015:

MAT is comprised of five sections for 200 marks with each section of 40 marks.

  • Language Comprehension
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Data Analysis and Sufficiency
  • Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and
  • Indian and Global Environment.

Basic Knowledge of Computer:

In traditional Paper Based Test, Candidate is supposed to bring Pen, HB-Pencils, Erasers and Sharper with him/her whereas the question paper and OMR answer sheet is provided at the test center. But in Computer based test there is no requirement of these. In computer based test candidates sit in front of the computer monitor and the candidate submits the answers through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. Computer Based Test assumes that the candidate has basic familiarity with use of computers like use of keyboard and mouse operation. It is the responsibility of the candidate to acquire these skills before appearing in the test and AIMA cannot take responsibility for the same.
