Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) announced the list featuring top 10 universities in the world. The key factors like quality of education, alumni employment, influence, and five others are considered in ranking the universities.
CWUR’s procedure in rankings is noted as exclusive for its non-consideration of survey or university data. The rankings are based on the scores achieved in the respective 8 factors.
The rankings are purely granted based on the percentile achieved in those 8 factors.
Harvard consecutively topped as the World’s best university.
Out of the top 1000 universities, US has the staggering 224 universities.
The UK, meanwhile, has 65 institutions in the 2016 table, just behind China (90) and Japan (74), as the prestigious Oxford and Cambridge institutions are the only British ones to feature in the top ten.
In addition to its annual rankings, CWUR also provides consultation for governments and universities.
