UP Police recruitment examination for filling up the vacancies in Sub Inspector (SI) & Platoon Commander. The selection criteria for Sub Inspector comprises of four stages (Pre exam, Physical Test, Mains Written Exam & Group Discussion (GD)). UPPRB successfully completed the final step (GD) in December 2014 and the written examination in September 2014. The results and the new cutoff was released in the month of June 2015. Candidates who had qualified in the four stages of recruitment and are selected for the SI & Platoon Commander post will go through the UP police training. The date for commencement of the training will be released shortly. However, the buzz is that training will begin in the month of November 2015.
