Dayalbagh Educational Institute or DEI is an educational institution located at Dayalbagh in city of Taj Mahal, Agra. The institute has been given deemed university status by the University Grants Commission of India in 1981. The Government of India declared the DAYALBAGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE as an institution Deemed to be a University from the session 1981-82, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 (3 of 1956). The Institute has since been accorded the membership of the Association of Indian Universities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For UG Courses(B.A/B.Com/BBA/BCA):

Candidates should XII th pass with any recognized Board of Secondary Education in the concerned stream.

For Bachelor of Vocation [BVoc]:

10+2 or an equivalent certificate
10+2 with PCM or an equivalent certificate.(For Required Courses)

For BTech:

For admission to first year of B.Tech., the candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) and also with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category ) in Mathematic

For 2nd Year BTech:

Diploma holders: Passed 3 / 4 year Diploma examination from an Institution recognized by U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/ Technology except Agriculture Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) without grace. Physics and Chemistry each without grace.

B.Sc. graduates: Passed 3 / 4 year B.Sc. Degree from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) without grace and having passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as a subject.

The candidates belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with the candidates belonging to the diploma stream.

For PG Courses(M.A/M.Com/M.Sc):

Graduate in related discipline Arts/Business Management/ Commerce/ Social Science/Engineering and qualified score in the Management Entrance Test

For Master of Vocation (MVoc):

Students who have already acquired NSQF certification Level 7 in a particular industrial sector under Community Colleges/BVoc Degree program/DDU KAUSHAL Kendras in same trade.

Students who have acquired NSQF certification Level 7 but may like to change their trade and may enter into skill ‐ based courses in a different trade(candidate has to take up Skill Bridge course during semester I/II).

For MBA:

For admission to first year of MBA, the candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with at least 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in the qualifying examination without grace.

For MCA:

For admission to first year of MCA the candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with Mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained minimum 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in the qualifying examination without grace.

Application Fee:

Non-Professional courses: BA (Hons.)/BA(Social Science) (Hons.)/BCom (Hons.)/BSc(Home Science) (Hons.)/ BSc (Hons.)/MA/MA (Social Science)/MCom/MSc(Home Science)/MSc] Registration Fee (Rs. 5) + Application Processing Fee (Rs. 225/-) = Total: Rs. 230/- per course.

Professional courses: BTech/ MTech/ BEd/ MEd/ BBM(Hons.)/ BVoc/ MBA/ PG Diploma Courses/Diploma in Ayurveda/Diploma in Multipurpose Veterinary & Live Stock Assistant/Diploma in Pharmacy/MPhil/PhD Registration Fee (Rs. 5) + Application Processing Fee (Rs. 265/-) = Total: Rs. 270/- per course.
