The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of India, raised on 24 October 1962, under the CRPF Act, in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. It conducts various examinations for the recruitment of eligible candidates in different departments. This year it has released notification for the Constable Motor Mechanic posts.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should to possess 10+2 from a recognized board or institution. Candidates should have Motor Mechanic certification from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute and 3-year experience.
For Constable:
Constable (MM) :- (i) Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institution; and (ii) Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade from a recognized institution; or (iii) Three years experience in respective trade from a recognized firm.
Age Limit:
Candidates should have a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum of 25 years as on 1st August 2017. Other age relaxation details can be seen in the official notification.
Application Fee:
Candidates should have to pay Rs. 100 towards the application fee. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedules Tribe and Ex-Servicemen need not pay any application fee.
