PGIMER Chandigarh Recruitment 2018: 17 Assistant Professor Vacancy News: After sensing the lack of enough qualified Assistant Professors in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, Board has issued a recruitment notification for 17 vacant posts. Following this, Walk-in-interview for the posts of Assistant Professors in different departments purely on contract basis vides Advt. No. PGI/ RC/ 2018/ 084/ 4450 dated 27th July 2018 will be conducted soon.

Except for Paediatrics speciality (having double vacant posts), all others/ speciality have 1 vacancy i.e. for Cytology, ENT, Hepatology, Histopathology, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Obst. & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatric Surgery, Paediatrics (Neonatology), Medical Parasitology, Physical Med & Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radiotherapy. Required experience or essential educational qualifications may or may not be required for different specialities.

At the time of registration, all details should be correct and match with previous SSC/ HSC documents i.e. Full Name of Candidate, Father’s/ Husband’s Name, Mailing Address, Permanent Address, Date of Birth, Age, Sex etc. All the details of Postgraduate career and undergraduate career (Examination Passed, Year of Passing, Number of Attempts, Class/ Division, University/ Institution) will have to be mentioned. Besides, also don’t forget to provide state of domicile, nationality, religion, registration number with the medical council, the state in which registered, educational qualifications.

Documents required at the time of filling up of online application form are – Registration with medical council certificate, community certificate (physically handicapped, other backward class, scheduled tribe, scheduled caste), experience certificate, DNB/ DM/ M Ch/ PhD certificate, MD/ MS/ MDS Certificate, MBBS/ BDS/ MSc Certificate/ Matriculation certificate, birth certificate and any other relevant certificates.

Board of the controller of examination, PGIMER Chandigarh has vowed not to conduct any written examinations. Rather, in the Committee room, Kairon Administrative Block, PGIMER, Sector 12, Chandigarh, Interview will be organised for eligible candidates at 12:00 Noon on 16th August 2018.
