TS BIE March 2016 Grant of Exemption from Attendance: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has notified the grant of exemption from attendance to private candidates for Humanities only (without college study) to appear for the Intermediate Public Examinations to be held in March, 2016 with Arts combinations will be considered on payment of Exemption fee of Rs.500/-. The fee structure and due dates for payment of exemption fee and submission of application for grant of exemption to the BIE office are given below. This provision of granting exemption from attendance (without college study) to the science candidates was dispensed with from the Intermediate Public Examinations, September 1997.

TS BIE March 2016 Grant of Exemption from Attendance fee details:
- The Prescribed fee is Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred) for grant of Exemption (The fee once paid will not be refunded incase of the candidates are found not eligible to appear IPE March 2016).
- Cost of Application is Rs. 10/- (Rupees ten only)
Important Dates:
- Without late fee up to: 15-09-2015
- With a Late fee of Rs. 200/- From: 16-09-2015 to 30-09-2015
Incomplete applications and applications received without enclosing original qualifying examination certificate(s), Transfer certificate and Migration Certificate together with eligibility certificate in respect of candidates who passed the qualifying examination other than S.S.C. of TS will be rejected summarily without any further correspondence.
ELIGIBILITY CONDTIONS:
- Candidates who have a gap of one year after passing the qualifying examination i.e. S.S.C or its equivalent are eligible to appear only for first year I.P.E and if the gap period is two years or more, they can appear for both 1st and 2nd year Intermediate Public Examinations at a time.
- Further the candidates who desire to change their optional subjects from Sciences to Humanities and for change of group in Humanities from one faculty to another as per the Rules of the Board will also have to apply for “Exemption from Attendance” on or before the due dates given above.
- The candidate who desires to change their second language and the passed candidates to appear for second language as additional subject
- The candidates who passed Intermediate Public Examinations, with B.P.C and desires to appear Mathematics only as Additional subject
- The candidates who passed their SSC or its equivalent examinations from other Board / University other than Telangana state have to obtain Eligibility Certificate from TSBIE, Hyderabad and enclose the same along with the Exemption application form
- All private candidates who are granted exemption from attendance and who intend to appear for 1st or 2nd year I.P.E March, 2016 for the first time will have to answer the papers as per the syllabus prescribed for the regular students.
- The candidates are directed to submit their exemption application forms along with the original certificates of S.S.C, T.C etc online by visiting website tsbie.cgg.gov.in on or before last date. The candidate has to pay the requisite fee through online only. The application received by post or person will not be considered.
