Officially there were 21 posts as per the UPPSC to be filled through this PCS exam where 579 successful candidates have selected for the recruitment against the available vacancies. Candidates and aspirants who had been through this UPPSC PCS exam 2014 and were meritorious would be recruited for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).
UPPSC has selected about 92 candidates who were toppers in the PCS exam 2014 as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and about over 41 as Assistant Commissioner (commercial tax), three as District Commandant (Home Guards) 42 as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), seven as District Backward Class Welfare Officer, six as basic Shiksha Adhikari, eight as Assistant Labour Commissioner, 150 as Commercial Tax Officer, nine as District Physically Handicapped Welfare Officer, 17 as District Food and Supply Officer, four as Assistant Commissioner (Co-operative) and 68 as Nayab Tehsildar, amongst other posts.
