Akshay Kumar aka Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood is known as one of the highest paid actors in Indian film industry. He has given a few back to back hits for a long time now. He is the biggest Star in tinsel town and the toughest competition to all three ‘Khans.’

Whichever genre of the movie he acts like romantic, comedy or true-story based, Akshay has always portrayed each and every character on his way with ease and mesmerize the audience. He is undoubtedly a great actor but needless to say, he is an amazing human being in real life.

Akshay’s upcoming movie PadMan is all set to release on January 25 and the team has been promoting the movie for some time now. What caught the eyes of the audience was Akshay sporting a ‘bald look’ and it created a buzz among his fans.

Akshay Kumar was first spotted in a bald look while promoting PadMan at the grand finale of Bigg Boss Season 11. It was earlier speculated that “Akshay Kumar went bald to avoid a surgery for hair bonds, as his hair follicles were too weak to hold onto artificial hair bond,” sources said.

According to a report, Akshay Kumar completely shaved off his head and went bald for his next project, Kesari. Akshay has been receiving a lot of praise for embracing his real-life look during PadMan promotions and not making any effort to hide his bald pate.

Putting all the rumors aside, Akshay himself confirmed the real reason behind his decision to go bald. According to the sources, the reason behind Akshay Kumar completely shaving off his head, “As it was getting uncomfortable to don a huge turban for the Kesari and a tonsured head provides some respite from a sweaty head.”

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film PadMan, starring Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor, is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a Tamil Nadu-based social activist who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India.

Kesari is Akshay’s next movie which is a period drama on the 1897’s historic Battle of Saragarhi, which was fought between Sikh soldiers of the British Army and Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen. Co-produced by Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar, the Anurag Singh-directorial Kesari is slated for Holi 2019 release.
