Prime Minister Narendra Modi has catapulted the image of India to a sky level in front of the world. With his futuristic efforts, he has conquered the hearts of people across the globe.
Undoubtedly, PM Modi Ji has always been one of the most modest and heartful leader, earlier, he gifted ‘the lord shiva stole‘ to a twitter follower after she wished. Modi left no stone unturned when it comes to his loved ones, being simple and easy going are some of the few impressive traits the Prime Minister possess, and that makes him an inspiring standout from other prominent people.
Now, his modesty is once again proved after acknowledging his way of approach towards the 50-year-old Gita Devi, when she sent an amazing gift made from wastage. Feeling confused? Then read the full story here…
As we all know PM Modi has a huge fan following, of course, he must be receiving hundreds of gifts daily; and also it’s obvious that everyone tries to please him by sending something special. But what happened when a 50-year-old woman from Bihar sent a gift to PM is something more spectacular than common.
50-year-old Gita Devi, a housewife who hails from Samastipur made a basket from garbage and plastic waste. When Gita Devi’s step son Manoj Kumar Jha saw her work, he encouraged her to parcel the same to PM’s office. She did so but had never expected a response from the PM.

PM Modi himself appreciated the gift and also added many words of praise to it.
He said this can be a great initiative and help to government’s Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan and also to small-scale industries. Modi further added that it will reduce plastic garbage and will be an excellent step towards environment protection.
“The idea of using plastic litter to create beautiful products is amazing. This is not only useful for the ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign but also has vast potential for small-scale industry.”
Gita was thrilled to receive a reply from the PM himself. When her family read the letter to her as she is illiterate she said she expressed her feeling with utmost joy;
“I am very happy that Modi ji has replied to me,”
Gita’s husband Ramchandra Jha, who is a farmer said that her (Gita) skills of converting waste products into beautiful things is currently limited to a hobby and now that she is encouraged by the PM himself they feel confident and would like her to take it to next level and also mentioned the financial problems in doing so.
“Now that we have got encouragement from none other than the prime minister, we feel it can be done. But we lack money to do any business. May be if we get a loan, we can do this.”
Converting garbage into beautiful handiwork. That is really awesome, isn’t it?
We have to realize that small actions are not really small. They create a huge impact! And I am glad that Narendra Modi is appreciating the efforts of a common woman!
