Rajinikanth is one of the superstars who have fans from all over the world. It’s common to see the news of fans buying something which was used in the film during auctions in an insane amount of money because of their love for the star. Makers of the film usually auction these things as a part of their promotions of the film. But sometimes fan request the makers to auction the things used by superstars in the film. One such thing happened with the dog, who happened to share space with Rajinikanth in the movie poster “Kaala”
Mani, the dog that shared space in the poster looked equally royal and ferocious beside Rajinikanth. It is being heard that fans are ready to shed 2crores for the dog but the animal trainer isn’t ready to sell him. Recently professional animal trainer Simon revealed that fans from Malasia are offering 1 crore for Mani and are ready to pay up to 2crores as he was beside Rajinikanth in the poster. Simon has been training animals in 800- 1000 movies. He exclaimed in an interview that
“Few people offered about one crore. They were even ready to pay two crores for the dog since he has acted with Rajini sir. But I refused because we are taking care of him as a child. Who will auction their child for money? So, I declined the offer,”
Mani is a stray dog but Simon took him under his wing. Simon had shown nearly 30dog pictures but Pa Ranjith wasn’t satisfied with any of it. When She showed Mani’s pic, Ranjith instantly accepted it. The dog was vaccinated to ensure the safety of the crew is currently 2.6years old. He even talked about the friendship Rajini shares with Mani.
“Rajini sir will feed him a pack of biscuits every day. That made our (trainers) work easy since the star and Mani had a good rapport.”
Kaala is an upcoming gangster film directed and written by Pa Ranjith. Rajnikanth will be seen as Kaala and Huma Qureshi will play the role of his ex-girlfriend. Eshwari Rao will be seen as his wife while Anjali Patil will play Rajinikanth’s daughter in the movie. The cast also includes Sayaji Shinde and Nana Patekar. The movie shows how Rajini runs away from to Mumbai and becomes a Don living in Slums of Mumbai. The movie will be released on 27th April 2018.
