Kangana Ranaut is the fierce lady of the Bollywood industry and speaks in a straightforward way even if it hurts the other person. She is quirky yet determined and from her performances in the movies, we can say she is one of the best actresses in the Bollywood industry at present.
Kangana Ranaut is the winner of three national awards and four Filmfare awards. But her journey to the B-town wasn’t so easy, she faced many struggles from the beginning of her life.
In an interview, she once stated that her parents considered her as an unwanted child as she is the second daughter in the family. She said they were expecting a boy but seeing me instead they were disappointed and even added that her family never really pampered her.
Kangana Ranaut belongs to a conservative family from a small district called Bhambla in Himachal Pradesh. She has an elder sister, Rangoli, an acid attack survivor and the present manager of Kangana and also a younger brother Akshat.
Kangana was outspoken and rebellious since she was a child, and was also good in her academics and aspired to become a doctor in her childhood. But it was a failed chemistry that altered her course of life. After failing the test, she started showing interest in acting which didn’t go well in her house. Kangana then decided to leave her house and packed her bags and moved to Delhi at the age of 16 without a penny.
Started off as a model to support herself financially in Delhi. But later on, called it quits after feeling that modeling wasn’t her call and stepped into the world of acting by going to Mumbai.
She auditioned for Anurag Basu’s movie Gangster and got selected but Mahesh Bhatt wasn’t interested in taking a newbie for such a huge role and considered replacing her with an established actress. But like the saying goes, what’s meant for you, will always be yours, the established actress canceled at the last moment which landed Kangana in the movie.
Her acting in the movie Gangster was widely acclaimed by the critics and Kangana was overwhelmed with the positive response from the people.
Ever since Kangana never looked back and acted in various successful movies like Tanu Weds Manu and it’s sequel, Wo Lamhe, Fashion, Raaz 2. It was the movie Queen which changed the producers perspective towards Kangana and undoubtedly it was the best movie of Kangana to date.
