Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are one of the hottest pairs in the Bollywood though they didn’t confirm their relationship status. Sonam Kapoor and Anand’s wedding rumors were stirring in the industry, but these weren’t just baseless rumors, They planned their big fat wedding in June but allegedly destiny had other plans for them. Sri Devi’s sudden demise left the actress in shock and they had no other option than to postpone their wedding to a later date which is nowhere soon in this year.
Sources close to the family revealed that Anand stood as a pillar of support for the family during the tough time. He was also seen handling Sonam and trying to cheer her up from the loss. Sonam Kapoor doesn’t like to answer the media about her personal life. When she was asked about her wedding plans, she stayed mum but didn’t deny it which proves that they were planning their wedding.
As per DC, a source revealed that Sonam and Anand are extremely fond of each other and the families have accepted each other’s choice. They were yet to decide if it’s going to be a destination wedding or a Big Fat Punjabi wedding. Also, a source said to Midday that, Sonam had also decided the designer for her and he is none other than Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and it was rumored that he had also started to work on the wedding trousseau. Sonam Kapoor was also seen wearing an engagement ring during an event. When questioned about the same she gave a diplomatic answer saying that “No it isn’t (an engagement ring). Even if it was why would I tell you??”
Sonam is currently working on Veerey Di Wedding which also casts Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania. The film will be releasing on June 1st.
