K-Pop Star Goo Hara Found Dead In Her Seoul Home At 28

South Korean singer and actress 28-year-old Goo Hara was found dead inside her house in Seoul, said the local police.

Goo was best known for her acts with Kara, a K-Pop (Korean Pop) group that she joined nearly 11 years ago.

Goo was also an actress and even released solo music.

The Seoul Police said the death of Goo Hara is still under investigation.

In May this year, Goo was hospitalized after a suicide attempt.

After the incident, Goo apologized for the concerns her actions brought to her fans and family.

Her manager found her unconscious in May.

But this time Goo was found dead inside her house by 18:00 local time (9:00 GMT) on November 24, 2019.

The announcement was made by the Yonhap News Agency after the Gangnam Police Department confirmed the news.

A day before her death, Goo posted an image of her on Instagram and wrote “Good night”.

Her Instagram has over 1.7 million followers.

Kara, which is the former band of Goo, was one of the first groups in Korea to make on the international stage.

In 2015, Goo released her solo EP. It was so famous that it peaked at number 4 in the Korean Music Charts.

Earlier this month, Goo released a song named Midnight Queen.

And before that, Goo signed with a talent management agency in Japan.
