Kapil Sharma Gives A Befitting Reply After Farah Khan Called Him ‘Mannerless’

Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan is one of the calm, cool and friendly celebrities who don’t usually slam anyone on social media sites. She doesn’t very often lose her cool, though she is known for her plain speaking.

But, something went wrong which made her so angry that she took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to express her fury and wrath. She slammed each and every person out there who don’t think the need of giving her a call and just send a WhatsApp message, which she refers to a ‘Janta Invite’, for attending a premier, preview or party.

She went on to tweet calling them as ‘Mannerless’ and the tweet has gone viral within no time. An annoyed Farah wrote,

“Dear Mannerless people, if you want me to attend your premiere/preview/party DON’T send me a “Janta invite” on WhatsApp! You are not doing me a favor! The least you can do is make a personal call. If you can’t find the time for it what makes you think I have time to get ready and come for you.”

Farah named no names but Twitter set to work instantly guessing whom she could have meant. The two films that released last Friday were Kapil Sharma’s Firangi and Sunny Leone’s Tera Intezaar, but the Internet decided on Kapil Sharma.

It is said that Farah indirectly took a dig at the ace comedian Kapil Sharma and needless to say, she must be talking in the context of Firangi’s screening.

Kapil Sharma, adored by many for his comedic work on TV, hosted a special screening of Firangi for Bollywood celebrities last week but Farah Khan told that she wasn’t singling him out. “It was not just Kapil Sharma. There were two to three other events happening on the same day. I was referring to all of them,” Farah said.

Well, this clearly means that her tweet included Kapil Sharma. It was definitely not an appreciative gesture on the part of Kapil as Farah has been on his reality shows (Comedy Nights With Kapil & The Kapil Sharma Show) many times and they seem to share a good friendly bond.

While the whole Internet has gone crazy over Farah’s comment, Kapil has reportedly opened up about the issue, said, “in whatever way, I thought correct I had invited all my friends from the film industry (sic). We had a show on Thursday. In whatever way I thought correct I had invited all my friends from the film industry. It was mostly attended by cast crew and our friends and family. I hope my big powerful friends in the film industry will see the film later.”

Concreting Kapil’s statement, Rajeev Dhingra, the director for Firangi defended Kapil and said, “I don’t understand this negativity surrounding Kapil. Why is he being treated like this? Could it be he has offended important people by just being who he is? Even the reviews for Firangi are pretty harsh.I don’t think we deserve such condemnation.”

Following all this, as per the report in SpotBoyE.com, Farah said, “It was not just Kapil Sharma. There were two to three other events happening on the same day. I was referring to all of them.”
