Kenyan Woman Who Can’t Afford To Travel Edits Herself Into Holiday Photos With Hilarious Consequences

A woman’s terrible ‘holiday photos’ become a huge online joke, but she has had the last laugh. A Kenyan woman, Sevelyn Gat, who can’t afford to travel in real life has Photoshopped herself into the destination of her dreams and posted on her Facebook page. She has uploaded doctored images of herself standing next to a plane, on the Great Wall of China, and at a temple and gave captions to all the pictures. The photoshopped images were so bad that they’ve been liked thousands of times.

Of course, people on social media couldn’t help editing Seve into other images from around the world, using the hashtag #WhereIsSeveGatsNow. Some of the edited images of Seve include her with Kim Kardarshian, Donald Trump, and other movie stars. While some opted for other popular tourist destinations, others went rogue and Photoshopped her into pictures of people skydiving and even standing on the rings of Saturn.

She gained a lot of attention on social media, especially Twitter. But she’s had the last laugh now after she bagged herself a holiday thanks to her hilarious snaps. The attention derived by her photoshopped images caught the attention of Nairobi businessman, Sam Gichuru, who has raised enough money for her to go on holiday, including four-star accommodation, insurance and some pocket money for the internet sensation. Seve who has also got her first birth certificate is applying for a passport and has got an internship as a project manager.
