Janhvi Kapoor who has resumed shooting for her debut movie “Dhadak” which was paused due to her mother’s untimely demise. Karan Johar asked her to take a leave for a month but She showed immense courage and came to the sets of shooting after coming to know that Karan will face a huge amount of losses if she took a break from the shooting. She started working for her picture after celebrating her 21st birthday at an old-age home and later on at her residence along with her family.
The pictures are leaked from the set where Janhvi looks like her mother and the same got viral on social media which didn’t please the makers of the film. Hence Karan Johar put a ban on mobile phones on the set. Karan and Shashank want to keep the audience in surprise.
“When the team found out about the leaked videos on Saturday night, it promptly reached out to Instagram Help Centre and managed to pull one of them down. But it was too late to block the other one, as it had been circulated widely by Janhvi and Ishaan’s fan clubs by then. The video was from the Jaipur schedule of Dhadak that took place a few months ago. Since the film is a remake of Sairat, the plot is already known. So, it is crucial for Shashank to guard the film’s look to keep the mystery around the movie alive. Since many scenes are being shot outdoors, the producers are working on procuring permissions to cordon off the area where they are shooting. After all, the videos in question were leaked by the fans who had queued up on set,” said the source.
Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starred “Dhadak” which is being directed by Shashank Khaitan and is produced by Dharma Productions and Zee studios. Th movie is an official remake of Marathi movie “Sairat” which was a super hit. Sairat is a movie about “Honor Killing” where the boy belongs to a lower caste and the girl is well off and belong to a higher caste. They both fall in love and eventually elope and work hard to stabilize their life. They get married and live a happy life. When their son is born they invite their parents to come over who will kill them in the name of honor. The movie is all set to get released on 20th July 2018.
