This Is Priyanka Chopra’s CANDID Advice To Miss World 2017 Crown Winner Manushi Chillar

Finally, after the tiresome waiting of 17 years, this Indian woman has finally bagged the Miss World title and this certainly is a landmark achievement for India in 2017. The 20-Year-Old Haryanvi woman Manisha Chillar has taken the mainstream media by storm by winning the prestigious and pivotal title all the way.

She has become the center of the spotlight within a fortnight. She undeniably is the topic of discussion in the whole country. The whole celebrities are pouring in congratulations and best wishes for the model, winning this exemplary title in 2017, she became the sixth woman from India. India won the title last in the year 2000 when Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra made a mark at the event.

Manushi competed against 118 contestants who represented their nations. We must know that this competition is not all about the outlook, contestants were asked certain tricky questions and their chances of winning the crown depends mostly on the same.

Now, just after Manushi has won the coveted crown, Priyanka, the former Miss World has a word of advice for her successor. Taking to Twitter, she wrote,

“And we have a successor!Congratulations @ManushiChhillar on becoming #MissWorld2017.. cherish and learn, and most importantly enjoy it.Bravo.”

To this touchy post from Priyanka, Manushi responded, “It means the #World to me! Have always looked up to you”. Well, that is very generous on Priyanka’s part, hope Manushi handles it well and good.

Later to the event, Manushi said, “The feeling is still sinking in and very excited to make India proud too. I’m also looking forward to the year ahead. My parents have always been my pillar of support and having them here tonight by my side has only brought me more strength and joy. My final answer also came to me by having them here with me in front of me.”

“Thank you, everyone, for your constant love, support, and prayers. This one’s for India,” she later wrote on her official Twitter handle. Manushi is only the sixth Indian to win the coveted crown, which was first won by Reita Faria back in 1966. Her win brings India at level with Venezuela as the countries with most victories in the history of the pageant.

Earlier, Aishwarya Rai had bagged the title in 1994, followed by Diana Haydon in 1997, Yukta Mookhey in 1999 and Priyanka won hers in 2000.
