Sushant Singh Rajput did some spell bounding acting in the epic biopic of skipper MS Dhoni which released last year under the direction of Neeraj Pandey. He was applauded by the large scale of audiences and Bollywood fraternity for replicating the attitude and gait of MS Dhoni on the screen.
The actor undoubtedly gave his heart and soul to the biopic and however, received appreciation for his skillful appearance. No critic left praising him for ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and he earned the best actor of the year award (critics) at the Star Screen Award.
Technically that’s the critical appreciation which denotes that he didn’t win the popular award of 2016. The actor raised his voice against the awards staff and that actually spurred a spree of controversy on social media platforms like Twitter and others.
However, the actor now once again received flake in an interview which starred Radhika Apte and able actor Rajkumar Rao. Both were recently shot for BFFs with Vogue (which will be aired on Colors Infinity) hosted by Neha Dhupia had some interesting revelations. And, according to a leading newspaper, Rajkummar Rao, who is known to be diplomatic and hasn’t invited any controversy, chose to take in shots of chilli as ‘punishment’, while Radhika Apte took the questions head-on and her answers were quite bold and brutal.
All the fuss started when Neha Dhupia asked the actress who she thought was the most overrated in Bollywood, Radhika hesitated for a moment, then, shot back, “Sushant Singh Rajput!” When asked to name one actor who needs acting classes rather than gym sessions, she said, “Sooraj Pancholi.”
To this answer from Radhika, Rajkummar chose to stay quiet but was on fire (literally). He’s reportedly sensitive to spicy food and the Chillies were killing him, but he refused to give any answers or take digs at his fellow actors for all good.
